Sheepskin & Shearling Rugs

Sheepskin and shearling rugs can serve as both decorative and functional pieces in many environments.

A way to soften modernist edges and bring unexpected texture to the back of a chair or quietly define spaces, large and small. Use a 2-hide sheepskin or shearling rug as a runner in a hallway, or a welcome touch at the side of your bed. Consider a 4-hide sheepskin or shearling as an area rug or use it as a throw. For larger spaces, we’ve designed 8-hide sheepskin rugs, which features eight sheepskin selected to match perfectly and sewn together side by side.

Comfortable, luxurious, and hypo-allergenic, with natural qualities that keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer, all of our Pure sheepskin and shearling hides are both sourced with discernment from a specific geographical region at the base of the South American continent, where happy Argentinian sheep roam the Patagonian pastures.

The two distinct styles, sheepskin hides, with natural depth varying between 2.5 to 3.5 inches, and shearling hides, sheared at 1-inch precisely, are both available in natural ivory.

Not known to discriminate against the black sheep in the mix, our sheepskin hides are also exclusively available in a unique dark color. We love the black sheep and their mixed brown and beige tones.

All that said, you can’t truly experience a sheepskin hide or shearling rug of this quality until you sink in deep with your feet, face or elbows exposed. The shearling hide rugs are particularly great for babies and families, because of the naturally hypoallergenic, naturally flame retardant, and easy to clean-and-maintain properties. Pure sheepskin and shearling rugs make it easy for people with modern sensibilities without sacrificing the needs of their growing family.

Lately, the white ivory shearlings and sheepskin hides have also become popular with the Kundalini set, as well as their intended user base of interior designers, confirming that our approach to sustainable sourcing, and meticulous selection of hides can be both seen and felt, naturally.
